The term ‘superfood’ is as over saturated as ‘fast fat loss’, coming across deceiving, overused, and misleading. The leafy bag of mixed greens that are going old in the back of your fridge can even be considered a ‘superfood’…so what exactly are these plants called that can provide your body with a boost of healing benefits? Everyday essentials! That’s right, these powerful herbs, roots, and algae can be included in your daily nutrition far beyond a tincture or capsule. They can be included in your baked goods and hardy savory dishes!

Aside from the variety of vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutritious needs that, these foods can elevate your health, and only take a small amount to get the job done! Below includes a glimpse into the powers spirulina, hemp, and MCT oil can provide to your body to optimize your health!

CBD Spirulina Mint Truffles

What you’ll need:

  • half a cup of Artisana coconut butter + cashew butter
  • two tablespoons of spirulina
  • 3mls of CURED mint-infused CBD oil
  • one dessert spoon of stevia
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • chocolate molds

How to make:

  • melt all of the ingredients above in a glass bowl above a saucepan of boiling hot water (bubbling)
  • once melted pour into your chosen chocolate molds
  • place in the fridge for at least an hour before removing from the molds
