Broad spectrum CBD has a full spectrum profile but the THC is removed. In a broad spectrum product, multiple phytocannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are preserved; therefore, it can still deliver the enhanced benefits of the “entourage effect”.

THC is on the Proposition 65 list because exposure to this chemical during pregnancy may affect the development of the child based on the findings of several animal studies.

Some of the chemicals listed in Proposition 65 are listed because significant exposure can cause cancer, however, in the case of THC, the warning pertains not to cancer but to the possibility of birth defects if a mother is exposed to THC while pregnant.
