Our Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is made from whole hemp flower, utilizing all of the cannabinoids and terps within the whole flower. This means it has higher efficacy and creates a greater effect than other formulas on the market today.
One of the most fun aspects of being a cannabis consumer is the ability to smell the array of fragrances that the plant’s flowers produce. You may have noted the earthy aroma as you crack open a new Full Spectrum Oil, or you may have heard of terpenes or terpenoids. The words terpenes and terpenoids are often used interchangeably, although the meanings do vary.
Cannabis is an incredibly diverse plant regarding its biological makeup and potential benefits – and terpenes – are no exception. There are over 100 different identified terpenes in the cannabis plant, and while the differences can be subtle, much progress has been made in making classification of terpenes and their effects easy for users to understand.
Like cannabinoids, terpenes bind to receptors in the brain and give rise to various effects. The combinations of these terpenes with cannabinoids create an entourage effect, which enhances the healing properties provided by CBD.
When used in combination with CBD, the terpenes extracted from cannabis are thought to create stronger effects than CBD alone. Because terpenes have their own medicinal properties, they work together to either reduce or enhance the dominant effects of other cannabinoids. This is known as the “entourage effect” because of the way different components interact with each other.

If the health effects of terps seem to have a lot in common with the effects of CBD and the other cannabinoids, it’s not by chance; cannabinoids are actually hybrid compounds (called terpenophenolics) – meaning they are literally a combination of a terpene and a phenolic. A wide variety of these natural compounds can help strengthen the activity of cannabinoids.
Removing one single molecule from the full spectrum of a plant’s bioactive molecules can significantly limit the effects when choosing CBD products if you want to combined powers of all the cannabinoids and terpenes, make sure to choose a full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD.
When it comes down to it, source really does matter.
We’re all concerned about what we put in our bodies, but many CBD brands aren’t so cautious – motivated more the income they make from each of their products.
In addition to choosing cheaper CBD isolate (which is effective than broad and full-spectrum CBD) some brands source their CBD from overseas with lower purity standards.
That’s why it’s vitally important that your extracts come from a trustworthy source that follows sustainable and organic farming best-practices – otherwise, synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and even heavy metals could be a surprise guest in your daily dose of CBD.
With its natural, earthy taste, the Full Spectrum Raw Oil is your daily dose of ease without any cookie cutter approach. Taken sublingual or infused within one of your go-to sweet treat recipes like below, the whole flower oil will boost your mind-body benefits.
Now onto the recipe…
What you’ll need:
- one cup of rye flour
- a quarter cup of desiccated coconut
- three tablespoons of organic stevia
- three droppers of CURED Raw Oil
- one cup of plant-based milk
- one teaspoon of baking powder
- a quarter cup of chocolate chips
- pinch of sea salt
- one organic egg
How to:
Sift the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together the egg, milk, and CBD. Slowly add this mixture to the dry mixture until a dough-like texture starts to form that you can roll into balls. Add in the chocolate chips and fold into the mixture.
Place a baking sheet onto a tray and make tablespoon sized balls to flatten out into cookies (they will expand). Place them two inches apart on the baking sheet and place in the oven for 9-10 minutes.
