We’re CURED; a cutting edge supplement company that’s carving the path to sustainable, wholistic well-being. We believe in the power of plants and natural remedies. When we look at the multitude of issues we have faced in our own lives, we see plants as possessing the power to support us in ways mainstream medicine and tactics have fallen short.
In 2018, the Farm Bill legalized the (regulated) production of hemp. Until then, hemp wasn’t differentiated from other cannabis plants under federal law. Any plants derived from the cannabis genus were effectively made illegal in 1937 under the Marijuana Tax Act; and formally made illegal in 1970 under the Controlled Substances Act.
With such wide-sweeping legislation and the criminalization of cannabis, the narrative surrounding the plant was permanently changed. It was quickly and comprehensively vilified, despite existing as a potent remedy and ritual in many cultures for thousands of years.
Back in 2017, we saw a gap in the supplement industry and we sought to fill it. We knew it was time to reintroduce high-quality, full-spectrum hemp extract (CBD) as a health and wellness supplement. It didn’t belong on the fringes – but moving it to center stage would require countless hours of work, unbreakable resolve and resilience, unprecedented honesty and transparency, and products that actually worked.
One Company, Rooted In Nature
Six years into our mission, we can confidently say that we did fill the gap, and promptly went on to find more holes in our industry to fill. We are one company, rooted in nature; so we looked to the natural world to learn how we might continue to infuse its wisdom and vitality into our community.
We took the knowledge we had gained from our search and developed products to carry individuals from sunrise to sunset, from dysfunction to function, and from mediocrity to true brilliance. We became masters in modern herbal formulations inspired by ancient traditions.
As we continued to evolve and mature as a company (in both product- and people-focused ways), we committed ourselves to integrity and service. We discovered ways to blend our core values (nature, responsibility, and service) with our proprietary trinity of ingredients; cannabinoids, functional mushrooms, and adaptogens.
